Most desirable stat, largely due to limited availability. Versatility: Increases all damage dealt, healing done, and reduces damage taken. So if you can handle another timer to watch and maintain I would say go for it.Updated to remove some outdated language and improve clarity. Typically the most desirable secondary stat, but falls behind Versatility easily, due to differing availabilities. But with the new Expansion and crit being it the crapper, I've been playing with Chi Brew, and I have to say I feel like my EB is there when I need it to be. ![]() Previously I used power strikes, best chi generation and no timers to really watch unless you are looking to play really tight on timers and make sure it is going off CD the instant it comes back. You have 2 charges but you would want to use one and keep the other one for an emergency while you let the second charge come back off CD. But you have to maintain it, it is another timer you gotta watch. #BREWMASTER STAT PRIORITY PLUS#Power strikes is about 1 chi every 15 seconds, and zero maintenance it just comes up and you'll probably jab shortly.Īscension is 15% energy regen, which equates to about 1 extra jab a little less that every 30 seconds (45 energy over 30 seconds for a 40 energy ability) plus the extra chi slot is nice for flexibility.įinally, Chi Brew is 2 chi every 60 seconds PLUS 5 stacks of EB. Unless you really really need the mastery and you're valuing mastery more than 1. So 30 versatility 37.5 mastery in stat budget. You get 30 stat points, now versatility is weighted heavier on the stat budget of an item compared to other stats. Unless you are on progression content, you probably wont notice a difference.įinal point that I just started toying with is the chi generation talents, power strikes, versus ascension, versus chi brew The reason you enchant versatility over mastery is because of the flat enchant value. If you're on top of your purifies, mastery wins, if you find that is not your strongest point, opt for versatility. versatility is kind of questionable, mastery gives you about 4x the mitigation of versatility per point, BUT it is only physical damage AND it has to be shuffled rather then just disappearing. So priority in my book is Bonus Armor > Master > versatility #BREWMASTER STAT PRIORITY SIMULATOR#SO personally, myself and a great many other Brewmasters are looking for mitigation stats over crit/haste. Our Rotation section is a tool that renders the actual action priority used by the simulator in a human-readable format. This also means 2 things, First that the relative value of haste as a chi generation stat is less, you don't need as much chi as you did before just to maintain shuffle, second you are going to have more chi than you actually need so you can dump more into purifying, which in turn raises the relative value of mastery. ![]() So crit, while useful, is not AS useful as it used to be.Ģ is with serenity you should be opening most fights with 10 seconds of blackout kick spam, giving you crazy lead time on your shuffle uptime. With this expansion and the level 100 talent Serentiy (which is mandatory for 99% of BMs) two things have happened.ġ is your crit sucks, and you can't stack it to get crazy EB uptime. Old SoO was stack crit, haste to get better regen. ![]()
